Bioseed owns a vast pool of germplasm, among the richest in the world. The gene pool has sprouted one of the highest success rates in all of Asia. Bioseed is one of a handful of biotechnology companies with expertise across the board: Research and development, field and lab testing, data review, produc- tion, farm management and farmer interaction.

Bioseed’s managers were unable to track the interaction of the reps in the farms. Multiple 1-1 followup was required at all levels, to keep up momentum. This meant smaller reporting spans and lot of middle management. Tracking the movements of the sales reps across geography was painful. This is especially hard, given most of Bioseed’s reps are spread across the rural hinterlands of India. The need was to streamline processes and improve productivity.

Bioseed needed a smart tool where they could track the location, time spent and distance travelled by the sales reps during field visits. This was to ensure that proper farm management and indulgence is executed accurately and also that the travel expenses are tracked effectively.
