We are excited to announce that Vymo won the FinTech track<\/strong> at the recently concluded Demo Day organised by CB Insights during their A-ha! Conference on December 12, 2017 in San Francisco. The event attracted a star-studded lineup of influencers and visionaries.<\/div><\/div>[vc_single_image image=”18128″ qode_css_animation=””]

While there were over 2,000 applicants for the opportunity, 40 of the most groundbreaking, innovative companies from around the world were finalised to pitch on Demo Day. Other eminent participants in the FinTech track included Birch, Cape Analytics, CNote, Crowdstreet, Kavout, Kin Insurance, NuCypher, Rentalutions, and Starling.<\/p>\n

A few interesting points<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • Vymo was the only company based outside of US \/ Europe among participants.<\/li>\n
  • Participating Fintech companies have raised over $100M in funding.<\/li>\n
  • VC backers for the companies include Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, and 500 Startups, among others.<\/li>\n
  • The judges included heads of companies such as AIG, Bose, Cisco, Fidelity, & Toyota AI among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
